As we head towards the start of 2021, many people will be setting themselves new challenges and resolutions.
The current lockdown may have resulted in a greater sense of determination and direction for potential clients as they look to the New Year to provide them with a brighter future in terms of their relationships, finances and career.
And it’s your chance to help someone achieve their goals: from losing weight, to improving public speaking, to stopping smoking and, for some, doing the things they’ve always wanted to do but found it too hard to take that crucial first step.
It could be that the events of this year means that they really want to (finally) quit smoking or undertake training for that marathon which they’ve always promised themselves they would do (but never quite round to).
Whatever the goal is, if it’s realistic, it’s something whichHypnotherapists can help a client to realise and achieve.
Focusing on those all-important key positives and talking through the Miracle Question with them to ‘firm up’ those crucial small steps can make all the difference for someone striving for success.
As such, as lockdown continues, you may like to think about updating your website, your social media platforms or highlight testimonials on your website to provide inspiration.
Writing a blog for your site can also be a positive step. Google likes to see fresh content and a few hundred words on how you can help someone is a good opportunity for you to help ‘boost’ your website up the rankings’ list.
With this year’s headline news being dominated by the effects of Covid-19, it’s important that we all continue to follow the official guidance, which can be found on the gov.uk website: https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus
Certainly liaising with your practice manager, insurer and supervisor can be useful when discussing suitable future client arrangements as we head towards the end of the lockdown period.
And, of course, working with someone in a remote setting can provide its own set of rewards. Please remember to be ‘background aware!’ Having a tidy area behind you can work really wonders for a positive initial impression.
As we’ve mentioned throughout the majority of this year’s newsletters: it’s a good idea to check the client’s phone is on the hook (and the line is clear) before you start a remote session.
We wish you all a pleasant, productive, and, of course, safe, month ahead and look forward to being back in touch soon!
